Sophia loves sitting in her chair. She signs the word "sit" by crossing her arms--mimicking the way I cross my fingers over one another for the American Sign Language word "sit". It's hilarious because she loves to just sit in her chair and watch the birds out the window. She can sit there quite content for at least 5 minutes (which is long for a toddler). All the while she also signs the word "bird" in hope of catching a bird in flight and when she really does see a bird. We sit together--watching, expecting, and in awe (mostly me in awe of her and how her mind is developing)!
